Dear Gulf Coast Technology Council member,
Last year’s GCTC Scholarship Fund was certainly a success. Your contributions to the fund made it possible for six students to receive $8,000 in scholarships toward their education in technology-focused fields.
This year we hope to do even better. Excitement is abounding on many levels in Mobile and the GCTC is growing in membership and participation. To help us achieve our purpose as an organization, we need our members to carefully consider their contributions toward this year’s scholarship fund.
The GCTC Scholarship Fund’s purpose is to foster the education of students attending Mobile area colleges and universities who are majoring in fields related to technology and to keep that talent in Mobile for years to come. There are deserving applicants that need our help. Please thoughtfully consider being a part of this program within the GCTC.
The contribution form for the fund as well as the student application form is below. Please send your commitment for contributions by August 30, 2011 to Steve Russell at srussell@mobilechamber.com. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
